Amethyst
Amethyst, a popular variety of quartz, is primarily sourced from Brazil, Uruguay, and Zambia. Brazilian deposits are renowned for producing large, robust crystals with vivid purple tones, ranging from soft lavender to deep violet. Uruguay’s amethysts stand out for their intense, rich purple hues, often featuring a distinctive "Uruguayan Mist"—a subtle, cloudy inclusion that adds unique character.
