Clear Quartz

Clear quartz, one of the most common and versatile quartz varieties, is found worldwide, with notable deposits in Brazil, Madagascar, the United States, and Switzerland. Brazilian clear quartz is prized for its exceptional clarity and large crystal sizes, while Madagascan specimens often feature unique growth patterns. American deposits, particularly in Arkansas, yield high-quality crystals, and Swiss varieties are celebrated for their transparency.

In terms of form, clear quartz typically forms hexagonal prisms with pointed terminations, often growing in clusters or as single, standalone crystals. Its appearance ranges from perfectly transparent to slightly milky, with some specimens containing inclusions like needle-like minerals, gas bubbles, or water pockets, which add to their individual character.

Culturally, clear quartz is revered as a "master healer," believed to amplify energy, enhance mental clarity, and balance emotions. It is also associated with spiritual purification and is often used in meditation practices to promote focus.
